E-Learning Module

Overview:

Here is a concept of an e-learning module we designed for forensic pathology students who have to learn how to perform a heart dissection. When an autopsy is performed on a patient that is suspected of dying from heart failure, a very detailed heart dissection is performed. Each part of the heart is carefully examined to look for the cause of death. This module focuses on the dissection of the atrioventricular valve apparatus. With how medical education is changing during these transformative times, e-learning is becoming an invaluable tool.
