Dupuytren’s Contracture

Overview: This print brochure is about the condition where one or more fingers are permanently in a flexed position, known as Dupuytren’s contracture. This often starts with the development of small, hard nodules beneath the skin and as it progresses, these nodules harden and restricts the mobility of the finger.

Target audience & challenges: This brochure was made for patient education to learn more about Dupuytren’s contracture and the surgery to fix it. The challenge for this project was to show all necessary information, including the surgery steps, in an understandable way and at the same time does not scare the viewer from getting the surgery done themselves. The brochure also includes information on how to check if someone might be in an early stage of Dupuytren’s.
