We are a team of illustrators, animators, designers, and scientists who believe in bridging the gap between science, technology, and art. Science doesn’t have to be complex. Through medical illustration, design, and animation, we support a wide range of clients – from pharma to biotech startups and everyone in between.

The Position

In the role of Contract Medical Illustrator, you’ll join our team on a contract basis. You will work closely with the Art Director to develop a wide range of visual material for patient education, research publications, conference marketing material and more. Job responsibilities can include:

• Conceptualize, develop and deliver original illustrations for a wide range of subjects – biology, biochemistry, general chemistry, organic chemistry, and physics

• Create original 3D models for illustration and animation teams

• Create illustrations according to stylistic guidelines

• Ensure artistic excellence and factual accuracy of the illustrated work

PREFERRED SKILLS

• B.A. or M.A. in medical illustration preferred

• Exceptional proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite

• Strong design skills

• Storyboarding

• Strong portfolio featuring medical and scientific work

• Research and comprehend advanced scientific concepts

• Demonstrate high level ability to draw the human figure, animals, and geolocial features

• Develop new skills rapidly
