Symptoms

Open angle glaucoma typically produces no noticeable symptoms until significant, often irreversible, vision loss has already occurred, making it a particularly dangerous condition to leave undetected.2

A sudden glaucoma attack, associated with a different form of the disease, can cause severe eye pain, headache, redness and inflammation of the eye, nausea, vomiting, and blurry vision.2
