Tendyne™ TMVR Device Illustrations
Overview
We partnered with Abbott to create sales training medical illustrations for the Tendyne Apical Management Course. The course focuses on the Tendyne™ transcatheter mitral valve replacement system and the full valve implantation workflow.
The visuals walk cardiologists and cardiac surgeons through apical access, tether anchoring, and suture placement step by step. Each illustration shows correct device positioning within clear anatomical context and highlights how the device interacts with surrounding tissue. The result is stronger technical understanding, better procedural accuracy, and greater clinical confidence during transcatheter mitral valve replacement.

What Is the Tendyne TMVR system?
The Tendyne TMVR system is a transcatheter mitral valve replacement device designed to treat mitral valve disease through a minimally invasive, transapical approach. The valve is delivered via the left ventricular apex and secured using an apical tether and suturing system. Because successful implantation relies on precise technique, detailed visual guidance plays an important role in specialist training and procedural understanding.
